Aeneas – Beneteau Evasion 37, manufactured in France in 1982. In USA introduced as M/S 37 Pilothouse.

Named in honor of another sailboat Aeneas I sailed with Tolia Bohdan and Oleh Harchenko in Ukraine..

MANUFACTURER’S COMMENT: Flagship of the BENETEAU Cruising series, the M/S 37 Pilothouse is a real blue cruising yacht; her tulip shaped stem and her sections that progressively flare up towards the deck make her a very dry boat and the fine entries ensure excellent performance under sail or power.

The M/S 37’s easy to handle ketch rig carries a 81 sq/m (870 sq/ft approx.) and thus gives the necessary power under sail for her displacement.
She is powered by a smooth, reliable 50 hp PERKINS Diesel.

The visibility from the inside steering station is excellent and the dual steering position provides year-round sailing possibilities. The navigation station and chart table are to starboard, and the “gourmet” galley includes double sink, refrigerator, stove with oven and hot and coffl water. The main salon and the two aft cabins are beautifully finished in teak.
